Solo shooter - shooter looking to rent Smokin Barrel firearms must be at least 21 years old, bring
his/her own functioning firearm, and be able to pass the Smokin Barrel safe handling
demonstration on the firearm to be rented.
Groups of shooters – Each participant must be 21 years old or over and be able to pass the
Smokin Barrel safe handling demonstration for the firearm being rented. You do not need to
bring your own firearm, however, if a member of the group can’t pass the safe handling
demonstration, they will only be allowed to shoot firearms that the group has brought.
Family members – Legal guardians bringing 18-21 year olds can rent firearms if the guardian is
able to pass the safe handling demonstration. If a family member is a minor (under 18), the
guardian may rent a firearm only if they have brought one of their own functioning firearms and
can pass the safe handling demonstration.
Smokin Barrel will not rent firearms to any shooters under the age of 21 under any other
circumstance unless approved by management and following California firearm law.
Rental fees:
- Handgun Rental – $20 for the first handgun; $10 for each additional rental
- Longun Rental - $25 for the first rifle; $10 for each additional rental
Shotgun usage on the range will incur a $10 fee to cover increased filter exposure to
particulates as well as maintenance costs.
Smokin Barrel ammunition purchased onsite and on the day of the rental is the only ammo
allowed to be shot through the rental firearms.
